Nature Informationist
Responsibilities:
- To collect data and conduct the content analysis on the data/ raw information from media e.g. Newspapers, Magazines and the other reliable and credible resources.
- To prepare information for Exhibition Panels, to increase Company's value, with the presentation that adds in the new elements, e.g: arts & esthetics value/ philosophy/ ideology/ literature in the farm's signage.
- To generate ideology of exhibition/ new attraction for the farm, as well as for other enrichment project.
- To prepare informations for Outreach Project/ Consultancy Project : provide information for exhibition panels, at the same time help to increase the value/activities for the exhibition.
- To provide the information/ write up in order to develop the market potential for inbound/outbound tourist. This can be in the form of brochure and guide book, internal promotional tools Website, Blog and etc.
- To translate/interpret relative information from English to Malay or vice versa for Company uses.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Biology, Journalism, Education/Teaching/Training, Linguistics/Languages, Mass Communications or equivalent.
- Possess strong command of English language, creativity, independent and resourceful.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Journalist/Editor or equivalent.
- Possess gift of persuasive and creative writing, plus flexibility in preparing texts to suit the requirements of given situation.
- Must be committed, responsible and a team player.
Good in photography and fluent in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
                   
Front Office Assistant Manager
Job Responsibilities
- Formulation and implementation of Front Office policies and procedures
- Supervision of the Front Office staff, from maintaining proper cash control to visitor service standards on day to day basis.
- To plan, organize, lead and control the front office's operation.
Monitor departmental costs to ensure performance against budget.
- To ensure good, friendly services and creating comfortable atmosphere to all visitors.
- Ability to perform the People Handling Skill – Training, Coaching, Support and motivating the front office personnel.
- Managing front counter performance including providing efficient visitors service.
- Leading a team of staff to achieve service excellence.
- Effective communication on any travel information required by all visitors.
- Attend to visitors' enquiries, requests, complaints and compliments.
- Regularly obtain feedback from external visitors on quality of service delivered and suggestions to improve services.
- To maintain front office record retention.
Job Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma holder in Tourism& Hospitality management, Mass Communication, Public Relation related discipline or with minimum 5 years experience in Customer Service or equivalent
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays when required.
- Good interpersonal, communication & follow-up skill, adaptable and result-oriented.
- Possess outgoing personality, positive attitude and high energy level.
- A good team player.
- Analytical and result oriented, excellent organizational, presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
                   
Technical Resources Assistant
Job Responsibilities
- To act as a Biological Apprentice in the Technical Department.
- To assist in the breeding and data collection and compilation of all insect specimens, and ensure updating of the technical archive.
- To work together with the Technical Resources personnel in the well being of all exhibits within and outside the farm as well as monitoring the daily husbandry.
- To collect data on the daily diet intake of all the exhibits, bio data as well as their adaptation behavior.
- To act as a lab assistant and develop the preserved specimens found within the farm.
- To act as an assistant breeder and coordinate with other technical staff to carry out the necessary work.
- To assist the Technical Resources Head in developing precautionary measures and possible cure to potential parasites and viruses found in most of the breeding stages of all categories of insects
- To assist in any breeding operation as assigned by superior
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Biology Science, Zoology, Entomology, Conservation Biology or equivalent
- Able to work on weekends and public holidays when required
- Good interpersonal, communication & follow-up skill, adaptable and result-oriented.
- Possess outgoing personality, positive attitude and high energy level.
